Privacy policy

Note: Fields marked with […] (e.g. the newsletter provider) should be completed or adapted to the services actually used. This policy is a careful template and does not replace legal advice.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:
WU Socialmedia GbR, Bonländer Hauptstraße 34, 70794 Aichtal, Germany
Email: info@euro-toolhub.eu

2. Principles

We only process personal data where necessary to provide the website or where you have consented. Euro Toolhub is deliberately data-minimising: we do not use cookies for tracking purposes. Cookieless analytics only run with your consent (see the analytics section); you can revoke this at any time via “Privacy settings” in the footer.

3. Web analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

Only with your consent do we use Vercel Web Analytics – a cookieless, data-minimising analytics service by Vercel Inc. (USA). No cookies are set and no cross-device profiles are created. Aggregated usage data (e.g. pages viewed, referrer, coarse region, device type) is collected. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future via “Privacy settings” in the footer. For transfers to the USA the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When accessed, technically necessary data (see server log files) is processed. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider; for transfers to the USA the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses are used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Server log files

When the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL and browser/operating-system details. This data serves technical provision and security and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Forms (list a tool, correction, claim profile, newsletter)

When you use one of our forms, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual handling) or (f) (handling tips and corrections).

For the newsletter we use the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive a confirmation email. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future (unsubscribe link in every email). Dispatch service used: [add the name of the newsletter service].

7. Recipients / processors

Your data is only shared with service providers that support us in providing the website and handling requests (e.g. hosting, newsletter dispatch where applicable), each on the basis of a data processing agreement.

8. Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is deleted afterwards.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can revoke any consent given at any time.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (LfDI Baden-Württemberg).

11. Updates

This privacy policy is updated when the data processing or the services used change. Last updated: July 2026.
